Weekend wrap up

This was a beautiful weekend. Just when I thought the weekend couldn't get better...... God smiles and gives you one more surprise. All the services (tech wise) were over all good. Some small issues with video footage, but we pushed on. I was finally able to take a break form lighting operator duties, BIG thanks to our volunteers, you guys rock. I was able to walk around the first floor during the auditorium. I had NEVER done this before...... It was amazing. For one, I was able to actually see the lights from the same angle that most people see it every weekend. Second, being in the crowd felt like I was actually part of the people, not just a tech. The energy was amazing, although I was trying to get pics, I could still feel and see the people, clapping, worshiping, and going up for prayer, Amen.
Also, on Friday there was a special dinner witch we did a really cool production for. It was done in the main auditorium, with all the tables on the stage. We hang a rear projection screen in the middle of the auditorium, for easier viewing of video and IMAG. We also had this part where there were people out in the auditorium seats, and they told the stories of there lives and how they came to FRC, and have been impacted by what the church is doing. I picked them up with moving lights, one arc lamp with cto color correction for the front, and an incandescent for back lighting. We would switch off from solo song on keyboard to story, to keys, and so on. Check out the web album.
